Did Obama want to appoint Colin Powell to his cabinet?

Rumor has been circulating the Internet that President Barack Obama aims to appoint General Colin Powell an American statesman and a retired four-star general in the United States Army to his cabinet.

Colin Powell is a renown republican who endorsed Obama publicly during the last American presidential election. He was also the first African American appointed as the U.S. Secretary of State under George Bush.   Sounds like a good idea!
