These days you hear some dirty acts associated with
someone called a Pastor and you wonder if the fellow actually understands the
responsibilities of that title.
Pastor Craig Lamar Davis of Full Gospel Baptist
Church has been arrested for alleged reckless conduct after investigators
discovered he was sleeping with several ladies in the church, leading to him
infecting them with HIV, a deadly sexually transmitted disease.
At least two ladies have come forward to press charges. According to
reports, Atlanta based Pastor Davis admitted to investigators that he’s HIV
positive and that he willingly had unprotected sexwith the said
women. One woman, Ronita McAfee, says she met Pastor Davis on Facebook and it
wasn’t long before the two started meeting to have sex.A few months after the
affair kicked off, Ronita said Pastor Davis called and told her that one of his
ex-girlfriends called and said she tested positive for HIV. He told Ronita to
call her doctor and that if she is positive it is not a death sentence. He also
suggested some over the counter drugs she could take so that she would not get
infected.
Ronita
claims that after learning that the vacant house Pastor Davis had been staying
in had been foreclosed and he continued to refuse to get tested, it became
obvious to her he was positive and she filed a police report and took out a
warrant for his arrest.Ronita made history as the first person to file these
kind of charges against anyone in Clayton County. Subsequently, she asked if
she could also file against him in Fulton County because she discovered another
woman had fallen victim to Pastor Davis’ cunning ways. In fact, the woman, who
wants to remain anonymous, was in a leadership position at the same church
where Pastor Davis was once a member. She was a leader in Bishop Steven Hall
ministry and Pastor Davis was his head armor barrier. This woman said she
contracted HIV from Pastor Davis after being celibate for 15 years. When the
victim shared her situation with her pastor, Bishop Steven Hall, he decided to
remove her from her leadership position and asked Davis to leave his church.
Atlanta Police arrested Pastor Davis in the parking
lot of a Wendy’s fast food restaurant after church service on July 22. He was
denied bond at the first hearing but later he was granted a $30,000 bail and
his wife Jan posted the $3,200 to bail him out.
Investigators are still reviewing the case and
believe Pastor Davis may have several more victims.
