Sister Shoots Brother Dead While Posing With Gun For Facebook Picture

A 19-year-old girl Savannah Ramirez has killed her brother Manuel Ortiz by accidentally shooting him in the head while posing with a gun for Facebook photos on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2012.

Police say the deceased – 22-year-old Ortiz and his sister Ramirez had been drinking before they arrived back at the home they shared in Phoenix, Arizona, where the shooting took place.

Family and friends wept as his body was carried from his apartment in Phoenix, Arizona, where the shooting took place.
It is uncertain who owns the gun, but Savannah will likely be charged with manslaughter – especially if tests confirm she had alcohol in her system.
